WOMEN in North Somerset are being urged to boost their fitness by joining a bike riding group.
A new Breeze network has been set up by personal trainer Emma Ruffle, and local women are being encouraged to sign up for group cycling sessions around the district.
She said: “Breeze bike rides are fun, local, free and flexible bike rides just for women.
“Far more men than women ride bikes and I really wanted to volunteer to help change that. Riding a bike is easy - it’s fun and great for fitness too.”
The group’s next ride will be around Sand Bay and Wick St Lawrence on February 23.
The ride will start at 11am at the Beach Road car park, and will take about an hour and a half.
