A NEW craft group is hoping to take off in Cheddar.
A NEW craft group is hoping to take off in Cheddar.
Crafters who want to spend time knitting, sewing and chatting to like-minded residents can go along to the Guide Hut at Cheddar First School in The Hayes on Saturday.
Vicky Sweet, who runs Cheddar 2nd Brownies and Bev Davies from Axbridge Brownies, had the idea of forming a craft group.
Vicky said: "We always go round each others houses to knit so we thought we could hold an informal day where other people could join us.
"If the group takes off we hope to hold meetings on the last Saturday of the month."
The first meeting will be held from 10am-4pm this Saturday. Entry is £4 to cover refreshment costs.
