A WORLE headteacher is set to stay on at the helm of his school a bit longer than planned.

Stephen Miller, of St Martin's Junior School in Spring Hill, handed in his resignation in July.

Simon Marriott, who currently runs a school in Hertfordshire, is due to take over from September 1.
