A NEW project set up for elderly people will be launched in North Somerset.

Age Concern Somerset has linked up with North Somerset Council for the Partnerships for Older People Project (POPP).

The POPP project will be launched at the first of a new series of community cafes this month. A free 'opinion raffle' will be held at the cafes so residents can give their views on services for older people.

The first POPPINS community café will be held on Monday from 10am-2pm at Yatton Horsecastle Chapel. People of all ages are welcome.
