A NEW statue in Nailsea town centre will be officially unveiled on February 8.
The £30,000 bronze statue of a glass blower has been put up in the High Street, near Tesco.
It has been paid for by the supermarket as part of a 106 agreement, which states developers must put aside money to pay for facilities to residents.
The statue is being placed near the superstore to pay tribute to the town's former glassworks and is being unveiled at 11.30am.
