NORTH Somerset Council is holding its third and final public display tomorrow (wed) to give people information about two new villages proposed on the outskirts of Weston.

Between 4.30-8pm, Locking Village Hall in Grenville Road will have an exhibition and staff on site to inform the public of the potential development at Winterstoke Village and Parkland Village.

Last month the Mercury reported that the council is planning to build 5,500 new homes on the former Weston Airfield and RAF Locking sites and they want people to head down to look at the proposal.

People can send feedback to the council until October 12 by responding online at www.consult-ldf.n-somerset.gov.uk or by post. For more details visit http://www.n-somerset.gov.uk/Environment/News/news-20110826-westonvillagesconsultation.htm
