A NEW website has been launched to offer support and advice to victims of rape and sexual violence.

Somerset and Avon Rape and Sexual Abuse Support (SARSAS) has created the site, which offers a guide on how to access support services across the region.

The Survivor Pathway has been created by SARSAS and is confidential from police.

Group director Rowan Miller said: “These services are often vital in rebuilding lives and acknowledging the long-term effects of sexual trauma.

“We wanted to make sure all people living with the consequences of rape and sexual abuse were able to find out about and access the excellent specialist organisations across Somerset.”
