The UK’s biggest winter ice rink will come to Weston-super-Mare’s Tropicana this year.

People will be able to visit the seafront venue, in Marine Parade, to enjoy an exciting new winter attraction.

Icescape will occupy the event space for two months from November 3 to January 7, with a number of different activities to enjoy.

It will be the largest outdoor, covered ice rink in the country with space for 500 skaters per session. Those sessions will run every hour from 10am-10pm.

There will also be a giant ice slide, a Santa’s grotto, festive food stalls and the Icescape ice bar.

Felicity Baker, North Somerset Council’s executive member for leisure, said: “This will be another great attraction at the Tropicana and will prove to be hugely popular in drawing in crowds.”
