A LOVING husband and doting dad was killed just four days after returning from his honeymoon.Martin Price, aged 48, of Saville Road, was found by new wife Sue on her birthday after he was electrocuted while mowing the lawn.Sue, aged 39, returned from work at 5pm on July 11 to find her husband on the floor in the garden. She called an ambulance straight away but he was pronounced dead at the scene. She said: "Martin had been electrocuted while mowing the lawn."I don't know what it's going to be like to live without him. We wanted to grow old together. I just keep waiting for him to come home."We'd just come back from our honeymoon. We went all over America, to New York, Las Vegas and Hawaii, because we wanted to do something special. I'm really glad we did now."Martin and Sue met through a friend more than five years ago. Martin, an avid Bristol Rovers fan, proposed to Sue during a football match at the club's ground on Valentine's Day last year and they were married at The Royal Hotel in South Parade on June 16.Martin has three sons from a previous marriage, Adam, aged 22, Alex, aged 20, and William, aged 16.The self-employed painter and decorator was due to take his youngest son William on holiday to Greece later this summer to help him celebrate finishing his GCSEs.His ex-wife Nina Price, aged 44, said: "Obviously it's a complete shock, but the boys are being very strong. Everything had been going right for him and then he was taken. It's just unbelievable."The boys are really going to miss him, they love him very much. Martin was really proud of them and he thought the world of them. They were very close. It's just so tragic and sad."As well as his family and football, Martin was passionate about music and used to travel the country to watch matches and gigs with his uncle Pete Swaysland and his brother Jerry.Pete, aged 53, said: "He was just a great chap. We watched many football matches and concerts together. It's a huge shock for everybody."Martin also leaves his parents Brian and Gloria Price, his brothers Jerry and Stephen and sister Ali Yianni.Ali said: "He was my big brother, he was always there to support me. We recently shared some brilliant mini breaks to Prague, Budapest and Berlin. I am so proud he was my brother. There will be a massive void in my life."Martin's funeral and burial is taking place at Weston Crematorium, in Worle, on Monday at 3pm and many of his friends and family will be wearing his favourite football team's colours, blue and white. An inquest into his death is due to be opened and adjourned later this week.
