Newspapers help show history of town

WESTON museum will be looking back at the history of the town through old newspaper cuttings.

The museum’s volunteers will be displaying the papers which includes old editions of the Mercury.

They highlight important local events such as the World War Two bombing raids and the opening of the Tropicana.

The event is free and open to the public from July 8-9 from 11am to 4pm.
