A NIGHTCLUB in Clevedon is to open on Saturdays only after a drop in the number of revellers visiting the venue on a Friday night. Vibe@theHand at the Hand Stadium is to now only open for local clubbers on Saturday nights. Club owner Barry Bradshaw said:

A NIGHTCLUB in Clevedon is to open on Saturdays only after a drop in the number of revellers visiting the venue on a Friday night.Vibe@theHand at the Hand Stadium is to now only open for local clubbers on Saturday nights.Club owner Barry Bradshaw said: "We still have a regular core of customers on Friday nights but we need a larger minimum number to justify the overheads of staffing and we are simply not getting that number. Friday was always the less popular of the two weekend nights and maybe with more local pubs opening later on Friday nights, less people have been inclined to move on to Vibe afterwards."Vibe started as a Saturday night club and that's what we are going back to. It's still terrifically popular on Saturdays with a great atmosphere and we'll be focusing our attentions on making Saturdays even better."Mr Bradshaw said by ceasing the Friday night disco it would allow people to book venue for birthday parties, anniversaries or other celebrations.
