A CENTENARIAN spent her special day celebrating with her family.

Norah Pole turned 100 years old and had a party at Barton Grange care home in Winscombe where she is a resident.

The great grandmother was joined by her son Andrew, grandchildren Laurence and Edward and great grandchildren Charlotte and Madeline to mark the occasion.

Norah, who grew up in Buckinghamshire before moving to Wrington 13 years ago to be nearer her family, was a company secretary before she retired.
