Artists exhibit work at quarry exhibition

More than 60 artists are exhibiting their work at the Old Town Quarry in Weston.

The artists are all from North Somerset and are selling their work which is 20cm by 20cm.

A range of mediums are on display from glass and ceramics to paintings and prints.

One of the artists showing her work is Mandi Baykaa-Murray from Yatton who specialises in painting birds directly onto feathers.

Hannah Walker, who has just finished her art foundation at Weston College, has created digital artwork for the exhibition.

Linda Chan, who is visually impaired, will showcase her work alongside professional water colourist Julie Mainstone who specialises in seascapes.

Professional artist Jackie Barwell combines textiles, oils and acrylics in her work.

Their pieces will be on show until September 30 and people can pop in to view them from 10.30am-4.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
