Disruptions to your journey by car across North Somerset

Here is a round-up of some of the disruptions that could delay your travel this upcoming week, from June 28. 

Weston 

Locking Road in Weston will be prone to delays due to traffic control signals next week. Delays are expected to last until July 7 while CityFibre roadworks take place. 

In Maltlands, CityFibre roadworks are scheduled to end on July 1, which may cause delays and a traffic control and a multi-way signals system is currently in place.    

On the M5, Highways England is carrying out northbound and southbound junction 21 lane closures for barrier works until July 3 at 6am.  

Clevedon  

Marson Road will be prone to delays due to traffic control signals next week. Delays are expected to last from July 1-2 while Wales and West Utilities roadworks take place.

In Woodside Road, Wales and West Utilities roadworks are scheduled to end on June 30 at 11.59pm, which may cause delays and a traffic control is currently in place.    

Rippleside Road will be prone to delays due to traffic control next week. Delays are expected to last from July 12 at 11.59pm, while Wales and West Utilities roadworks take place. 

Portishead  

Clevedon Road will be prone to delays due to two-way signals traffic control for one day next week. Delays are expected on June 29 while Openreach roadworks take place. 

In Nore Road, Bristol Water roadworks are scheduled between June 28-30, which may cause delays due to two-way signals traffic control. 

Nailsea  

Lodge Lane will be prone to delays due to multi-way signals traffic control late next week. Delays are expected between July 1-2 while Bristol Water roadworks take place. 

In Elm Lodge Road, Bristol Water roadworks are scheduled between July 1-2, which may cause delays due to multi-way signals traffic control. 

Hanham Way will be prone to delays due to two-way signals traffic control late next week. Delays are expected between July 1-2 while National Grid Company roadworks take place. 

In Leighwood Drive, Western Power Distribution roadworks are scheduled between July 1 from 9.30am until July 2 at 4.30pm, which may cause delays due to traffic control with stop and go boards traffic control.  

West End Lane will be prone to delays due to stop and go boards traffic control late next week. Delays are expected between July 1 from 9.30am until July 2 at 4.30pm while Western Power Distribution roadworks take place.
