North Somerset Council is hiring a head of major projects to deliver its regeneration plans.

The job, which has a £66,000 salary and is based in Weston, involves overseeing schools, highways and property projects.

The successful applicant will be in charge of leading a new infrastructure delivery team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The advert says: “The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in managing teams and sub-contractors to deliver high standards as well as being an accomplished team player who will be an advocate for change and innovation, put customers first, work well with others and get things done.

“You will have strong financial acumen and a proven track record of successful delivery.”

The deadline for applications is 10am on February 2.
