North Somerset Council will celebrate and raise awareness about the support for deaf people

The support available to deaf people in North Somerset will be showcased during Deaf Awareness Week.
North Somerset Council will highlight the work of organisations which provide support for people affected by hearing loss.
There will be a Crack The Code competition which will use sign language finger spelling and an interactive colouring activity for young people.
An information stand will be set up in the Town Hall, in Walliscote Grove Road, from Tuesday until May 5.
There will be representatives from a number of different services – including Weston-super-Mare General Hospital, Avon Fire and Rescue Service and Sense – at the stand between 9.30am-12.30pm and 1.30-4.30pm from Tuesday to Friday.
