Members of a North Somerset agricultural group are celebrating after donating more than £2,000 to three charities.

The North Somerset Young Farmers Club meets on Monday evenings and takes part in sport, livestock judging, visits to local businesses and fundraising.

The club donated £800 each to Stand Against Violence, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and The Addington Fund, which offers homes for farming families living in England and Wales who are forced to leave the industry through no fault of their own.

For more information about young farmers – which is open to people aged between 10 and 26 – and joining the North Somerset club, contact 07870 265904 or visit
