YATTON Music Society (YMS) has paid tribute to a pianist who was killed weeks before she was due to play a concert at a church in the village.
Natalia Strelchenko was found dead at her home in Manchester last week and a man has been charged with her murder.
She was due to play a concert at St Mary’s Church, in Church Road, on October 24.
YMS spokesman David Ford said: “The performance would have included music by Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven and Liszt and the society was assured of a stunning evening of exceptional music given by a beautiful lady with outstanding talent.”
Young Steinway artist Harry Nowakowski-Fox will perform instead.
