Former Weston Grammar School students celebrated at their annual reunion.

The Old Westonians – which is made up of students who used to attend the comprehensive school – held the reunion at Weston’s Royal Hotel last week.

More than 100 former pupils sat down for a luncheon with their classmates and shared memories about their time at the school.

Colin Tyler, who is part of the organising committee, said: “We have a wide range of former students, with our eldest receiving his certificate in 1940.”

“After the lunch, we listened to talks from past pupils about their time after Weston.”

The group has more than 300 people on its list but is keen to reach out to others.
