IT WAS billed as a chance to see a super high tech $1million dollar car. But it ended with a jump start. The region's media was invited to see a Saab concept car while it refuelled at the Morrisons supermarket in Weston on its way to the British Motorshow in London. But the 400bhp car, which will do 0-62mph in 4.9seconds, refused to budge after refuelling with the green fuel bioethanol. The problem came down to a good old flat battery and there was then a frantic search for a set of jump leads to get the Aero X back on the road. It had to be pushed away from the petrol pumps by the team of Saab officials. The car, which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, had spent a few days being showed off at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It has a roof which lifts up so the driver can climb out, just like in a jet plane says Saab.A Saab spokesman said: "The problem was nothing major. The battery just went flat."The roof comes up and is electrically operated. It had been going up and down at the festival and drained the battery."At the end of the day it's a concept car.'It cost $1million to develop and has a twin turbo V6 engine. Its top speed is limited to 155mph.
