AN OPEN day to explain how the district council can help towards paying tax and rent is being held in Burnham.
The Benefits and Homeless and Housing Advice teams from Sedgemoor District Council will be on hand at the Princess in Princess Street on January 17 from 2-7.30pm.
They will be providing information on regulations such as the Local Housing Allowance which comes into force in April 2008, energy advice and improving housing standards.
