A NORTH Somerset school has been praised by school inspectors as being friendly and rated as outstanding.Wrington Primary School has received its Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools (SIAS) report that states: "There is an overwhelming sense of friendliness and welcome from pupils and staff alike who profess a sense of enthusiasm, accomplishment, constructive curiosity and genuine care and concern for each other within the school community."Some of the key strengths of the school highlighted the quality of leadership from the headteacher, the value placed on every individual member of the school community and the mature attitude of the pupils.Pupils were found to be stimulated by enthusiastic teaching using a variety of methods and activities and able to confidently discuss issues of faith. Inspectors found that the high level of care shown towards the pupils leads them to behave in kind and considerate ways towards each other and parents expressed considerable satisfaction about how the school involves them in many aspects of its life.Headteacher Jane Thomas said: "Last year we celebrated 150 years as a church school. This report reflects the commitment of the staff, parents, and community to provide the best possible start in life for the next generation.
