A CHILD has been injured after a car overturned in a narrow lane yesterday (Sunday).

Fire, ambulance and police crews were called to the lane in Berrow, which is close to the former Berrow Inn site and is popular with walkers from nearby Burnham-on-Sea golf club, at about 12.55pm.

A young child was found at the scene with a ‘small’ head injury.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews found one vehicle on its side. All persons were free and clear of the vehicle.

“Crews made the vehicle safe and assisted police. Ambulance crews attended to one small child with a small head injury, and duty of care was left with the police.”
