A PARISH council is at a standstill as it
struggles to find enough councillors to
represent it.

Compton Bishop Parish Council has not met formally since the beginning of May.

There are four elected councillors, and the
village needs to have a total of seven to be
considered a full working council

Two councillors were elected un-opposed in May in the local Government elections.

A further two councillors were then elected in June.

The council is looking for three new members to be co-opted in before it can formally meet again. To apply to become a councillor email comptonbishoppc@hotmail.com
