BANWELL Parish Council has purchased a plaque to be installed on the wall at the front of Banwell Primary School to commemorate the damage caused during the bombing of the village on September 4, 1940.
This plaque will be unveiled at 2pm on January 15, followed by an informal reception in the scout hut at the bottom of West Street car park, where light refreshments will be served.
