A VILLAGE in North Somerset is looking for a new representative following the resignation of a parish councillor.
Jane Gomm, who was re-elected to Banwell Parish Council after the local elections in May, is stepping down due to outside pressures.
An election will only be held if 10 villagers write to the returning officer at Weston Town Hall before October 25, otherwise a resident will be co-opted on to the council.
An election, if called, will take place no later than December 27.
For more details call parish clerk Nicky Hooper on 01934 812567.
