Around 1,100 people attended a party in the park in Weston-super-Mare.
Ade Bowen, who runs Action Pussycat, organised the event in Ashcombe Park after securing funding from Weston Lions Club and Mendip House Nursery and Preschool.
Families took part in science experiments with Mini Professors, and learned forest skills in sessions run by Play Wild.
Around 100 children also took part in dance workshops.
Ade said: “Every time I looked at the circus skills there were hundreds of children and adults enjoying the equipment, and the queue at the Travelwest smoothie maker never stopped.
“Weston Hospicecare ran out of stock twice at their popular stand.
“Weston super Rocks had a blast and said they have never been so busy.”
Another party will take place in the park, in Upper Bristol Road, on August 21 from 11am-1pm.
