HISTORY came to life for visitors to Weston's Helicopter Museum at the weekend, when the attraction hosted its World At War event.
Staged as part of the Locking Moor Road museum’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the event saw a host of military vehicles and memorabilia on display. There was also a living history encampment, offering a real taste of life in combat from some of history’s most notorious conflicts. A World War Two dance featuring favourite tunes from the era completed a successful weekend.
