PENSIONERS in North Somerset are sending copies of their bills to Gordon Brown in protest over rising costs.Members of Weston Senior Citizens' Forum decided to get people to send their utility bills to the Chancellor of Exchequer at their meeting last week.Forum chairman Ken Lacey said he wants senior citizens to write a note on the copy of the bill and send it to 11 Downing Street.He said: "Fuel and food bills are rising and pensioners are struggling on their pensions."These are things that the Government has not taken enough care about. We should jog Mr Brown's memory that we're still around and struggling."Members of the forum voted to not pay the January instalment of their council tax.The average amount it costs two people living in band D property in North Somerset for a month is £127.
