A brilliant evening of Brazilian food, music and dancing united people from all walks of life.
The Bringing Communities Together (BCT) group hosted a theme night at The Imperial, in South Parade, Weston-super-Mare, on Saturday and more than 100 people turned out for the event.
A buffet filled with Portuguese and Brazilian dishes fuelled guests who were ready to dance the night away.
There was also a special performance from Capoeira Bristol, a show-dance group.
BCT director Caroline Ashworth said: “It was an amazing night and I think everyone had a good time.”
The BCT offers a variety of educational workshops and activities for people in the community.
Caroline added: “At the BCT we like to get out of the classroom and give students the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice.
“It also gives them a chance to show of their skills and their culture.”
