People warned to be careful as flood warning issued

Flooding is possible in areas near Weston-super-Mare.


People are being told to take extra care in coastal areas today (Friday) due to high tides at 9.15pm.

Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Kingston Seymour and Uphill are all included in a flood alert which has been issued by the Environment Agency today.

Combined with strong winds, the waves may go over the seafront walls.
