PROUD dog owners gathered together to present their pet pooches at a charity dog show.

The show, held at Westhaven School in Ellesmere Road, in Uphill, was organised by Summer Lane Veterinary Centre to raise money for Macmillan cancer support.

Owners of a variety of breeds such as greyhounds, collies, springer spaniels and Yorkshire terriers walked away from the show with ribbons and awards, many proudly displayed around their dog’s collars.

The show was hailed a success as residents of all ages brought along their animals to compete in the show and take part in a fun family day.
