This year’s Weston Flower Show draws near - don’t forget to enter our photo competition for a chance to see your pictures displayed at the show. Here are some of the entries we’ve had so far:

The Weston Flower Show 2017 is nearly here and we are still taking entries for our floral photo challenge. The winning pictures will be displayed at the show, which takes place on Saturday, August 12 from 10am to 5pm.

The Weston Mercury has linked up with the organisers of the Weston Flower Show and is inviting its readers to enter up to four photographs to its floral photo challenge.

The categories are:

● My Garden

● Floral Close-Up

● Favourite Bloom

● Public Floral Display

We are looking for your top four flower pictures taken around Weston. There will be a cup for the overall winner and a certificate for the top picture in each category - judge’s decision is final.

Join in: Upload your four pictures (maximum) with a brief description and the category you wish to enter (you will need to upload your pictures one at a time to change the information per image). Thursday, August 3 is the last day for entries.
