Hundreds of women illuminated Weston’s seafront during the annual Midnight Beach Walk on Friday night.
A total of 285 women tackled the 5km route from the Tropicana, in Marine Parade, in memory, or in support, of loved ones suffering life-limiting illnesses.
The event saw walkers clad in fairy lights, illuminated head pieces and tutus start at the seafront venue at midnight on Saturday and head down the beach, under the Grand Pier towards Knightstone Island.
Event organiser Kelsey Dehaney said: “It was a fabulous occasion and, as ever, we are indebted to everyone who took part for going to such great lengths to support Weston Hospicecare.
“We were thrilled to see so many people taking part in the Midnight Beach Walk, and really pleased to see how everyone embraced the spirit of the occasion.”
