The people organising Yatton’s neighbourhood plan are asking people to submit photos of their favourite and least favourite architectural buildings within the village for a competition.

Two prizes of £100 each are available for the winning adult photos, while two £30 prizes are up for grabs for the best photos in the under-16s category.

Entries must be sent in JPEG format via email to by midnight on September 11. People are asked to include their address, contact number and, if they are aged under 16, their date of birth.

The neighbourhood plan has legal weight and will shape development in Yatton in the coming years.
