IN PICTURES: Stars of Time and Space flock to Tropicana

More than 1,000 fans attended the Stars of Space and Time convention at the Tropicana, which had stalls selling all kinds of toys, apparel and collectables, as well as a cosplay competition, and special guests.

Guest included prolific science fiction actor Clem Cho, who has appeared in more than 40 films, including Star Wars; The Last Jedi, and the latest Fantastic Beasts blockbuster and TV series including Dr Who.

Also meeting fans were Outlander and Dr Who star Annette Badland, Harry Potter, Dr Who star Jeff Rawle, and Matthew Waterhouse who played Adric, a companion of the fourth and fifth doctors in Dr Who.

Organiser Dave Burrows said: “It was our best one yet.
