CHAMPION livestock from across Somerset was paraded during a hugely successful North Somerset Show on Monday.
This was the 155th year the event has been staged to celebrate all things great about the agricultural world.
From morning to late afternoon, visitors to the show could enjoy demonstrations and displays, including Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s mounted section, pony club games, a grand parade of livestock and the Knights of the Damned.
Terrier racing, a gun dog display, ferreting, traditional country crafts, steam engines, vintage cars, tractor pulling and a huge horse show were also put on for people to enjoy in Wraxall.
Among the many livestock classes, Josie Davis from West Huntspill saw her Holstein heifer selected as a champion and Archie and Harry Stamp from Mark showed off their prize Suffolk lambs.
Nick Hill and daughter Lottie from Nyland near Cheddar also saw their Limousin heifer win the best-in-show prize.
