Brent Knoll’s RSPCA centre in Brent Road held a fun day on Sunday allowing people to get up and close to some of the animals it works with.

The excellent and vital work carried out by volunteers at the Brent Road centre was clear to see, especially with rescue dog Hope.

She was abandoned near Weston and massively underweight but was taken in by RSPCA and nursed back to health in the space of four weeks earlier this year.

An estimated 500 people turned up for the event which also had stalls and face-painting to entertain youngsters.
