A community event aimed to spark an interest in Weston-super-Mare's history was held at the weekend.
Crosville Motor Services hosted its vintage bus and steam rally at The Helicopter Museum in Locking on Sunday.
The rally featured many impressive vehicles and Crosville’s managing director Jon Jones-Pratt told the Mercury his aim was to create an interest in the company’s special vehicle collection from years gone by.
He added: “It’s an event about investing in Weston’s heritage and focusing on providing a community event.
“It was great to see so many families and so much interest from the town.”
The event was completed with the return of Crosville’s restored steam bus, called Elizabeth, which people could ride inside.
Mr Jones-Pratt said: “We are already looking forward to next year, plans are already under way to make it bigger.”
