Yatton’s two schools put on a stunning carnival year after year and the 2018 edition did not fail to disappoint.

Bright sunshine on Saturday afternoon certainly helped, as children dressed up as kings, fairies, angels and mythical creatures for this year’s event.

The participants gathered at Cherry Grove before heading down the High Street, as people lined the streets to see the procession.

The parade came to an end at the schools, where events and activities took place on the fields to entertain the crowd and also raise some money for the junior and infant schools.
