Pigs will no longer be able to feel the wind in their bristles as they race against their chums at Brean Leisure Park.Unfortunately, the portly animals have been confined to their pens due to the foot-and-mouth crisis. But a gaggle of geese could soon be replacing the pigs at the starting line as organisers hunt for some more animals to sprint round the track.Donkey racing will still be taking place at the leisure park's arena every Tuesday from 7pm, until August 28. The event raises cash for St John Ambulance, Burnham and Highbridge Sea Cadets and other charities. For more details visit www.brean.com
