THE world of fairytales will come alive when the much-loved tale of Pinocchio is told at The Playhouse in Weston.The memorable stage adaptation, to run from February 21-23, is a pantomime-style family show featuring colourful costumes and scenery, comedy and music.In this well known story Gepetto the carpenter longs for a son and creates a puppet made out of wood. His puppet, Pinocchio, seems to be filling the gap, but when the puppet lies, his nose grows. The production promises to be a great half term treat for the whole family and is brought to life by Bruce James Productions, which has been presenting shows for more than 20 years.The principal cast is made up of professional actors while the chorus was recruited locally following open auditions earlier this month.Tickets, priced £8 for adults and £7 for children, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
