A BEARDED guest entertained pupils at a Nailsea School with tales of the high seas.
Fearsome pirate, Blackbeard, spent the morning with youngsters from Golden Valley Primary School, in Nailsea Park, while they questioned him about his experiences as a sea-faring villain sailing around the Caribbean in the 17th century.
The children are using the answers he gave to compile a storybook ready for his return next week.
Pupils at the school have been learning about Bristol's maritime history and have already learnt about John Cabot.
They are due to visit a replica of his ship, The Matthew, later this year.
