A taste of Italy will be available in Weston this weekend.

A Pizza and Prosecco Festival will be held at the Tropicana in Marine Parade from noon to 11pm on Saturday.

Guests will be able to drink a range of 20 types of prosecco while eating some delicious slices of pizza cooked in a wood fired oven.

Street traders will also be on hand with a variety of other foodie delights.

A free Aperol Spritz will be given to each guest on arrival as well as a pizza and prosecco bible to help guide them through the huge selection.

Entertainment will be provided by DJs and live performers as well as a host of tracks which will have the whole venue singing along.

The event is only open to people aged over 18.

The festival follows a national tour which took it to dozens of cities across the UK.

Tickets, priced £13.23-34.34, are available online.
