THE 25th anniversary of a model plane show will be held this weekend near Yatton.

Enthusiasts from Woodspring Wings Model Flying Club will put on the show at the airfield in Claverham Drove tomorrow (Sat) and Sunday.

Club chairman Warren Smyth said: “We are so excited to be bringing our show to North Somerset once again.

“We have secured some of the top flyers in the UK and the new displays we have planned will be truly spectacular.

“As well as marvellous aerial displays there will also be stalls, entertainment and refreshments and we’re encouraging people to bring along a picnic and make a day of it.”

The show will take place from 10am-5pm both days. Tickets, priced £5-10, will be available on the gate.
