A PLANNING application to demolish part of a nursing home in Weston could get the green light tonight (Thurs).
North Somerset Council's west area committee, which decides on controversial or major proposals, will consider it at its meeting.
Plans involve demolishing part of a nursing home and outbuildings at the back of 24 Clarence Road South and 110 to 112 Walliscote Road, replacing them with five two-bedroomed flats.
Council officers have recommended the plans get the go ahead, subject to a number of conditions.
At the moment the area is used as an extension to the nursing home at 24 Clarence Road South.
