VILLAGERS in Banwell have been warned their fight to stop plans for additional housing in the area may not be over.
VILLAGERS in Banwell have been warned their fight to stop plans for additional housing in the area may not be over.
Earlier this month, developers NT Homes withdrew an application to North Somerset Council for seven houses with garages and small industrial units to be built in Wolvershill Road.
But at a Banwell Parish Council Meeting last week district councillor Tim Marter warned residents the developer will resubmit plans at a later date.
He said: "Those against the proposals will need to write again to the authority outlining their objections specific to that application."
Last month the parish council also opposed the plans on the grounds of traffic problems, noise pollution and a lack of privacy and drainage.
Villagers also submitted a petition with 50 names to the council opposing NT Homes original application at the same meeting.
