CEMETERY committee aim to begin burials on extra land if given permission
WINSCOMBE'S cemetery and allotment committee has applied for the removal of a planning condition to allow burials in the field beyond the current cemetery boundary.
Planning permission has been granted on the land, in Ilex Lane, since 1970 but burials have not been allowed due to one condition on the paperwork.
Once the condition is removed the cemetery can be extended.
