Fight leaves several people injured in Burnham-on-Sea

Avon and Somerset police were called to a fight in Burnham-on-Sea which left a number of people injured.

The incident occurred in Abingdon Street at around 1am yesterday (Wednesday) and resulted in several not life-changing injuries.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to Abingdon Street at 1.10am following reports of a disorder involving a number of people.

“Several people sustained injuries, which were not life-changing.

“There were no arrests and our investigation is ongoing.”

Police have asked for anyone who has information to contact the non-emergency number on 101, quoting the crime reference number 5217293752.
