Two people were hospitalised after a late-night brawl outside a chip shop.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened outside the Summerhaze Fish Bar, in South Road, Brean at about 12.10am on Monday.

Four people were injured, with two requiring hospital treatment.

Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and have all been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, especially if they have mobile phone footage or photos of the incident.
